Hip Parade are a pop rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Having shot to fame in 2008 following their journey on Channel 4's Orange Unsigned Act, the band went on to tour with Stereophonics and had many sell-out tours of their own. The band featured heavily on the UK festival circuit between 2009 and 2010, taking in main stage shows at Rockness, Wizard, Belladrum and T in the Park. The Scots have been championed for their live energy which translates to their pulling power at some of the UK’s biggest festivals. The debut album ‘I’ll Be Your Audience’ which was produced by Stereophonic's own Adam Zindani and Jim Lowe was released in 2012 to positive reviews.
After 4 years of intense touring and recording, Hip Parade went into hiatus. The intention was to come back with a second album after their break but the band never reformed and the second album was never completed. On the 10th anniversary of their debut, they started to release new material including the singles 'All the Bad Kids', 'Wasted Time' and 'Switches (Sad Machine)'. We might still see that second album yet :)
